Carolyn is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in family law. She has been advising on family law for 37 years. She was formerly head of family law at The McKinstry Company, and before that was a partner with long established

She was formerly head of family law at The McKinstry Company, and before that was a partner with long established Ayrshire firm RA Logan & Co. Carolyn has written articles on family law matters for a local newspaper over a number of years. She is a member of the Family Law Association. Carolyn is also appointed as a child welfare reporter by Ayr Sheriff Court. She has trained and acted as a Citizens Advocate on a voluntary basis. She is a former Dean of Ayr Faculty of Solicitors.

Penelope Galloway studied History at the University of Oxford and Law at the University of Glasgow. She was formerly a partner with Galloway & Elsby Legal and before that worked at long established Ayr firm, Black Hay. Penny is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in family law and is a member of the Family Law Association. Penny is known as an experienced and sensitive solicitor who advises across the whole spectrum of family law. She has acted in a broad range of cases including those involving divorce and financial provision, cohabitation, Adults with Incapacity and child law matters. Penny has a particular interest in matters involving children and is regularly appointed as a Child Welfare Reporter by Ayr Sheriff Court and as a Curator Ad Litem by both Ayr and Kilmarnock Sheriff Courts.

Elizabeth regularly wrote and lectured on family law. She has advised on the development of legislation on family law issues including being invited to give evidence to the Scottish Parliament. Elizabeth trained in both mediation and collaborative techniques ensuring the proactive approach of the practice.
